He was born in 1987 in Almaty. He received the prestigious «Bolashak» presidential scholarship. He graduated from the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics with a degree in Business Administration and speaks Kazakh, Russian, English and Chinese languages.

Over the course of 15 years, he has accumulated a wealth of experience through his work in governmental institutions and national innovation companies. He headed the Kazakhstan-Korea Center for Technological Cooperation in South Korea, worked as Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Social Entrepreneurship Corporation «Aqjaiyq», was an advisor to the regional governor as well as leadership roles in private corporations.

Madi's entrepreneurial spirit, leadership qualities, and tenacity have allowed him to transform bold concepts into reality. He has founded several startups in the fields of renewable energy (holding a patent) and inclusive technologies. His cinematic projects have propelled Kazakhstani cinema onto the Chinese market.

Madi actively engages in charitable initiatives and is passionate about sports, having conquered legendary Ironman and Oceanman distances. The combination of energy, an unwavering drive for new heights, an entrepreneurial spirit, social responsibility, and an active civic stance distinguishes Madi Zhakypov.
