Mirbolat Zhakypov

An experienced leader and mentor who has devoted his life to serving people.

Graduating from the Moscow State Historical-Archival Institute in 1977 with a specialization in "Scientific Organization of Management Labor in State Institutions," he is a Documentarian and organizer of state document management. He began his career at the Main Directorate for the Protection of State Secrets in the Press under the Council of Ministers of the Kazakh SSR as an editor, department head, and collegium member (1977-1989). Later, he worked at the Frunze District Committee of the Communist Party of Kazakhstan in Almaty as an instructor in the General Department (1989-1990).

From 1990 to 2018, he worked in the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, progressing from a specialist to the Head of the General Department. During this time, he received high awards and medals such as "For Merit to the Fatherland," the Order of "Qurmet," the Order of "Parasat," the Order of "Dostyk," 17 jubilee and commemorative medals, four Presidential Thanks with receiving of the "Golden Snowleopard" badge (1993, 2003, 2005,2015). He also received the badge "Best Civil Servant of Kazakhstan," the medal "Compassionate of kazakh language," the honorary sign "For services to trade unions," and honorary citizenship of the Kaztalovsky district.

Mirbolat is the author of the textbook "Handbook of Modern Document Management" (2006) and a co-author of the Ethnographic Concise Kazakh Dictionary in six languages. Additionally, he has contributed to numerous newspaper and journal articles.

He serves as the chairman of the editorial board of the journal "Issues of Document Circulation," a member of the editorial board of the journal "Archives of Kazakhstan" deputy chairman of the Scientific Council of the National Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and chairman of the committee of the Public Council on Public Service Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In February 2018, he was elected Chairman of the Republican Industrial Union of Workers of State, Banking Institutions, and Public Services "Kyzmet." During his tenure in the union, he successfully advocated for a 30% salary increase for public servants and continues to defend their rights. He is an active public figure, leading editorial boards and committees.

Mirbolat Zhakypov has dedicated his life to the noble cause of defending the rights of workers. His experience and wisdom inspire colleagues to constructive work for the prosperity of the homeland.

Toremurat Zhakyp

From auto mechanic to the head of a division in a global tobacco giant. 25 years of loyalty to one company.

Turemurat Zhakyp was born on May 1, 1967, in the village of Kaztalovka, Uralsk region, Kazakh SSR (now West Kazakhstan region of the Republic of Kazakhstan). In 1983, he enrolled in the evening department of the Almaty branch of the Ust-Kamenogorsk Construction and Road Institute. At the same time, in September of the same year, he started working at Motor Transport Enterprise No. 1 of the Production Management of Motor Transport of Glavalmastroy as an auto mechanic until May 1985.

After completing military service in 1988, he enrolled in the historical faculty of KazSU named after S.M. Kirov (currently named after Al-Farabi), which he successfully graduated in 1993, obtaining a degree in Historian and Teacher of History and Social Studies. In 1993, he was employed by "Kazahgaz" as a specialist in the department of prospective development and analysis in Uralsk.

Career at Philip Morris Kazakhstan from 1994 to 2019.
In 1994, after a successful selection and interview, he joined Philip Morris as a marketing correspondent in Uralsk. In 1995, he was promoted and appointed head of the advertising specialists group in the Marketing department of Philip Morris in the Uralsk branch. In 1996, he was promoted to the position of Head of the Marketing department of the Western region at Philip Morris. In 2001, he was appointed Regional Manager for Marketing and Sales of the Western region at Philip Morris Kazakhstan, overseeing 4 branches in Uralsk, Aktobe, Atyrau, and Aktau. In 2009, he was transferred to Astana as the head of the Sales department for the Central Region of Kazakhstan at Philip Morris Kazakhstan (Astana, Akmolinsk region, Karaganda and region, Zhezkazgan). He held this position until 2019.

Over the course of 25 years working successfully at Philip Morris Kazakhstan, he was repeatedly recognized as the best division head in sales, awarded for "outstanding achievements in sales" for several years, "for success in achieving annual goals" over several years, and received an award from the Akim of Iliysky district of the Almaty region "For contribution to the economic development of the region," among others. He earned the respect of colleagues and partners. Since 2019, he has been engaged in private entrepreneurship in the field of investments. A story of self-realization and dedication to the cause.
