Zhanar's Story

Meet Zhanar, from Kokshetau city, a happy wife and mother. She devoted her whole life to education, a physical education teacher at school.
In 2022, due to diabetes, she loses her leg above the knee and, with it, her job. However, her sporting past did not allow her to break down before the challenges of fate and she finds strength and gets back on her feet with the help of a prosthesis. Now she has a new goal to become a part of the para volleyball team of Astana, also to train as a psychologist and help people survive all adversities and by her example teach them to live and enjoy everything that life presents. As the Altair Foundation, we are glad that we have become a part of this path. We wish Zhanar new successes and the achievement of all set goals in the coming New Year!
